How to Cancel Subscriptions You Forgot You Had

At some point, you signed up for something, used it for a while, and then just... stopped. The subscription didn't stop. It kept going. It's probably still going right now.

This happens to everyone. It's not carelessness — it's the result of how subscription businesses are designed. Cancellation is never the obvious next step. There's always a reason to wait one more month.

Step 1: Find your subscriptions before you cancel anything

The most common mistake is trying to cancel individual subscriptions from memory. You'll miss half of them. Start with a proper audit first.

Check your bank statements
